About me My name is Josh Evans and i have recently completed my A levels (July 2009) at North Cestrian Grammar School, Altrincham, Cheshire. I have now decided that i want to put my efforts into playing full time amateur golf. I have been playing golf since the age of 7 and was introduced to the game by my father, Duncan Evans. Since then I have always looked to follow in his footsteps, as he won the British Amateur Championship in 1980 and represented GB&I in the 1981 Walker Cup at Cypress point. So now I am dedicating much of my time to improving my overall game with my Technical Coach, Neil Clarkson, and Sports Psychologist, Lee Crombleholme. Both websites are below, incase you are interested in sharpening up your game. http://ncga.golfprobooking.com/ 2010 is my first season as a full time amateur golfer and I will be competing in many of the top national amateur tournaments with the hope of breaking into the England A squad, which I feel could further enhance my progress as a golfer. Ultimately I aspire to represent GB&I in the Walker Cup and become a successful European tour professional within the next 5 years!
